Follow these steps to get ready for beach weather
1. Just Say No!
When someone offers you junk food, turn your head to the left and then turn your head to the right. Repeat step five times without stopping, or until you scare them off 🙂 I just saved your food baby. You’re welcome 😉
2. SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS
There are so many ways you can get involved with a sports team.
– Join Intramural sports at York
– Join a sports league in your home town
– Scrimmage with some friends
This summer, I joined intramural sports teams at York, playing for New College. I am on both the softball and soccer team. It’s a great way to not only stay active, but get involved with your college and meeting a lot new, amazing people!

If sports is not your thing, there are so many other ways to stay in shape! You can join a local gym, a Zumba class, a dance class, a running club! The opportunities are endless! Just always remember to stretch and stay hydrated!
4. Horizontal running.
Now go out and conquer the world with your beach bod!
